The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral


The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral dates back to 1591 and started of as a barn like structure made of wood, bamboo and nipa. It was the seat of the diocese which included the whole Visayas, Northern Mindanao and the Marianaa Islands.

In 1665 stone walls were added, over an extended period of time many changes were made making the Cathedral the landmark it is today. It was thought the Cathedral would never be finished due to typhoons, lack of funds and Cebu Cathedralvarious administrative changes.

Kawasan Falls



Kawasan Falls is a popular getaway destination in the southern part of Cebu.When you get to Badian Town, you'll have to walk 15 to 30 minutes or less along a very rocky and narrow path.

Parian Monument


Parian Monument, Cebu City Located on the original Plaza Parian, the Heritage of Cebu Monument showcases the significant and symbolic events in the history of Cebu from the time of Rajah Humabon to the recent beatification of Cebuano martyr Pedro Calungsod. The monumental sculptural tableau is the work of national artist Edgardo Castrillo. Construction began on July 1997 and inaugurated in December 8, 2000
